Watch This: 'High Kick Girl' Trailer

I'm not sure how you can make an entire movie out of this, but after watching the short teaser trailer below for a Japanese flick called High Kick Girl, I immediately wanted to see the rest of it. Greatest teaser of 2009 so far, at the very least. What's it about? I'm not entirely sure, but based on the various info I was able to dig up, it's kinda like The Karate Kid in that a high school girl must learn karate in order to fend off a group of street toughs ... or something along those lines. The film's website offers up a bit more detail in terms of plot, but does it really matter? Based on these images, it appears we'll get a cute girl in a short plaid skirt who has a really high (and sorta sexy) kick. Ah, those kinky Japanese ...

High Kick Girl is due out in Japan this summer.
